Conference Planning Services (CPS) is a boutique venue sourcing and contract negotiation firm founded by Maggie Brubaker, a Penn State graduate with over 20 years of event planning experience. Maggie holds a Contract & Negotiation Strategist certification through Meeting Professionals International (MPI), recognizing her expertise in analyzing, reviewing, and negotiating complex hotel contracts to protect client interests.
CPS is led by two partners: Maggie Brubaker (Founding Partner) and Kristin Aslan (Partner), who holds a Master’s in Nonprofit Management and over 20 years of experience developing results-driven programs. Together, they bring 20+ years of combined industry expertise to every client engagement, from national conferences to executive retreats.

Bringing people together has always been my superpower, and it’s what led me to the world of event planning! With a degree from Penn State and over 20 years of experience organizing events - from national conferences to executive retreats - I understand the unique challenges that event planners face. That’s why I founded CPS, a boutique firm dedicated to providing personalized, high-quality support to meeting professionals across all industries. My secret to success? A keen eye for detail and a commitment to exceeding expectations. Originally from Poland, I now call Colorado home, where I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband and children. Fun fact: I'm also a beekeeper and love tending to my garden and beehive! Check out one of my bees in action 🐝

Service has always been one of my core values—and that’s what drives me in the world of event planning. With a Master’s in Nonprofit Management and over 20 years of experience developing impactful programs and crafting solutions that deliver results, I’m excited to bring my expertise to Conference Planning Services. My focus is on helping clients achieve their goals through efficient planning and execution. Originally from New York, I’ve made Colorado my home, where I enjoy exploring the outdoors, discovering new destinations, and embracing the local arts scene with my family. Fun fact: When I’m not working on events, you’ll find me wrangling my two lovable pugs, Bear and Juno—they definitely keep life interesting! 🐾
